All three new models in the NV Series include Samsung’s award-winning Smart Touch User Interface which has now been further enhanced for easy and convenient control – a gentle touch is all it takes to view your pictures, navigate menu items, or change the camera settings.

Samsung’s new NV models also include improved processing technology which allows faster operation of functions within the cameras’ ultra-thin stylish bodies. Improved functions include dual image stabilization and improved noise reduction.

Other features include faster Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) to 0.7 seconds, advanced noise reduction which supports up to ISO 3200 and a local contrast control which enables the camera to compensate the brightness of a shadowed subject in backlit conditions.

 Reghardware.co.uk had this to say about the Samsung NV4 :Picture-wise, the NV4 delivered a pretty good performance but it was nothing to get to excited about. We think Samsung has taken its eye off the ball with the NV4. Instead of trying to make it the Swiss Army Knife of digital cameras, Samsung should have focused on basics, such as good handling. Besides, we’re also not convinced that many people will want to use their digital camera as a multimedia player – Apple’s Steve Jobs can certainly sleep well at night if this is the best camera manufacturers can offer. Style is great but there also needs to be some substance behind a product, and here, the NV4 sadly fails to deliver the goods."

Buy-n-shoot.com writes the following comments for the NV4  "There is no doubt that the multiple functionality of the Samsung NV4 is highly likable and suitable for today’s lifestyle considering it is one compact unit that acts as three or four different multimedia devices yet it is portable enough to carry at all times.
